We are sorry to inform You that Galeon will not take part in the 2022 Boot Düsseldorf show.
After careful consideration, consultations with our lawyers, partners, dealers and employees, we decided we cannot proceed with organizing the show due to health safety concerns.
This decision has not been made lightly, as we greatly value our participation in the Boot Show, as one of the most important ones in the whole calendar.
The increasing numbers of Corona cases, not only in Germany but the whole world and the new Omicron variant gives us, our partners and clients serious concerns. We had many cancel as traveling and attending mass events is becoming very problematic again. Many times requiring a series of test and quarantines. A lot of our clients vaccinated with the Sputnik V cannot attend the show at all ...
The last two weeks we have been watching the situation very closely, trying to find the best solution, but unfortunately the Corona situation gives us no other option. We cannot risk the health of our clients, employees and partners.
Taking it all into consideration, we officially withdraw our participation due to health and safety concerns. We feel the show cannot proceed as planned in this environment and the responsible action is to, unfortunately, cancel.
We sincerely hope that this is the last time the great Boot show was impacted by the Corona situation, and we can all meet in 2023 in more favorable and safe conditions.
